Three steps. Zero friction.

1

Open TradingView

Go to any chart page on TradingView with your watchlist loaded. AutoChart works with any watchlist you already have.

2

Press Start

Click the AutoChart icon in your toolbar and press Start. If your watchlist panel is closed, AutoChart opens it automatically.

3

Sit back

Charts advance on your chosen interval. Press Space to pause on anything interesting. Press Stop when you're done โ€” your session summary shows how many you scanned.

Everything you need.
Nothing you don't.

โฑ

Adjustable interval

Set any interval from 5 seconds to 5 minutes per chart. Change it anytime from the Options page โ€” takes effect on the next session.

โœ๏ธ

Your drawings survive

AutoChart navigates via URL โ€” the same way TradingView's own router works. Your trendlines, annotations, and indicators are never touched.

โŒจ๏ธ

Keyboard shortcuts

Space to pause/resume. Arrow keys to skip. Shift+Space to star any chart mid-session. Run a full scan without ever opening the popup.

๐Ÿ”ฒ

On-page overlay

A subtle badge shows the current symbol and session status directly on the chart. Configurable opacity and corner position.

โญ

Shortlist & session summary

Star charts mid-session with Shift+Space. When you stop, your starred symbols and lifetime stats appear in one card โ€” copy the shortlist in one click.

Fully private

No account required. No data leaves your browser. Settings live in your local Chrome storage and nowhere else.

Eyes on the chart,

Common questions.

No. AutoChart navigates by changing the URL query parameter โ€” the same way TradingView's own share links work. Your drawings, indicators, alerts, and saved templates are stored per chart ID by TradingView and are completely untouched. Navigation does not trigger a page reload.
Yes. AutoChart reads whichever watchlist is currently visible in TradingView's sidebar. If the sidebar is closed when you press Start, AutoChart opens it automatically. Just have the watchlist you want to scan active before starting.
Yes. Edge runs the same Chromium engine as Chrome and supports Chrome extensions natively. You can install AutoChart from the Chrome Web Store directly in Edge โ€” just click "Allow extensions from other stores" if prompted.
All TradingView DOM selectors are isolated in a single file. If TradingView ships a breaking update, a fix is straightforward to push. Updates are included free forever โ€” your $29 covers everything.
Yes. Press Space (or the Pause button in the popup) to pause on any chart indefinitely. The countdown freezes. Press Space again to resume โ€” the timer picks up from where it left off, so you keep the remaining time on that chart.
Yes. When AutoChart reaches the last symbol on your watchlist it loops back to the first and keeps going. Press Stop when you're done to see your session summary.
None. AutoChart stores only your interval and overlay preferences locally in your browser. No analytics, no telemetry, no identifiers of any kind ever leave your device. See the Privacy Policy below for the full details.
The Chrome Web Store is backed by Google's standard buyer protection. You can request a refund through your Google account's subscriptions & purchases page. If you have any trouble, email support@designyou.in and we'll sort it out.

We collect nothing.

The short version

AutoChart is a browser extension that operates entirely within your browser. It does not collect, transmit, store on any server, or share any personal data โ€” ever.

What AutoChart reads

AutoChart reads the ticker symbols currently visible in your TradingView watchlist sidebar. This data is used only to navigate between chart pages within your active browser tab during a session. It is never persisted beyond that session and never leaves your device.

What AutoChart stores locally

AutoChart stores the following in your browser's built-in Chrome storage (chrome.storage.local), accessible only to the extension itself:

  • Your chosen playback interval (in milliseconds)
  • Your overlay opacity preference
  • Your overlay corner position preference

These three values live on your device only. They are never transmitted to any server.

What AutoChart does NOT collect

  • No personal information (name, email address, IP address)
  • No browsing history
  • No financial data, portfolio information, or trading activity
  • No analytics or usage telemetry
  • No crash reports
  • No device identifiers of any kind

Third-party services

AutoChart does not communicate with any third-party service. Payment is handled entirely by the Chrome Web Store (operated by Google). AutoChart itself never receives or processes your payment information.

Permissions โ€” why they exist

  • storage โ€” saves your interval and overlay preferences locally on your device
  • alarms โ€” used for scheduled background tasks within the extension
  • tabs โ€” needed to send messages to the active TradingView tab from the popup
  • tradingview.com/chart/* โ€” the extension only runs on TradingView chart pages; it has no access to any other website

Children's privacy

AutoChart does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy is ever updated, the new version will be published at this URL with an updated effective date. Since no data is collected, any future changes would only be additive disclosures โ€” never retroactive.
